As the sixth release in the Série Atelier, a limited edition series that LAURENT FERRIER has been unveiling annually since 2020, the Classic Auto Sandstone continues the brand’s tradition of offering something truly unique to its collectors. The Classic Auto Sandstone fits naturally within the LAURENT FERRIER family, sharing a heritage with the Sport Auto yet standing out with its own distinct personality. Powered by the LF 270.01 calibre, an automatic movement that exemplifies the brand’s perfect blend of tradition and modernity, this watch is as functional as it is elegant. With a micro-rotor and a date function, the movement is built to handle everyday challenges while still looking right at home in more formal settings.
The design of the 40 mm watch case, envisioned by Laurent Ferrier himself, retains the iconic round, pebble-shaped silhouette that has become a hallmark of the Classic collection. Made from stainless steel, it houses the LF 270.01 movement, initially designed for the Sport Auto. This automatic movement features a Swiss lever escapement and a micro-rotor with a 950-platinum oscillating mass. It’s a powerhouse of reliability, offering over 72 hours of power reserve, making it as dependable as it is beautiful.
