Imagine holding a piece of the cosmos in your hand, a timepiece that captures the essence of distant constellations and the brilliance of celestial bodies. Allow us to introduce you to the UR-100V Stardust – a watch that not only tells time but also weaves a narrative of cosmic beauty and intricate craftsmanship. With a sparkle that rivals the stars themselves, this masterpiece is an invitation to indulge in the enchantment of the universe.

The UR-100V Stardust, lovingly crafted by URWERK, is not just a watch; it’s a promise fulfilled. As you cradle it in your palm, a cascade of diamonds catches the light, painting a portrait of elegance and opulence. With every pivot and movement, the watch comes alive, revealing a mesmerizing play of reflections that mirror the boundless expanse of the night sky.

“The universe, a symphony of stardust, weaves its magic in every corner of our existence. From the raw materials that form our world to the precious gems that adorn us, we are all part of this cosmic dance. The moniker ‘ stardust,’ attributed to the UR-100V, resonates not only with its setting but with the essence of the watch itself and its future wearer,” shares Martin Frei, the visionary Artistic Director and co-founder of URWERK.

Bedecked with a constellation of 400 diamonds (VVS1, Color D), totaling a remarkable 1.90 carats of pure carbon, the UR-100V Stardust embodies celestial elegance. The setting technique employed here is that of snow-setting – an arrangement designed to mimic the randomness of stars scattered across the heavens. Felix Baumgartner, a master watchmaker and co-founder of URWERK, explains, “Our intention was to capture the allure of the night sky – an ordered chaos that evokes the cosmos itself. The arrangement of the diamonds held more significance than their size, resulting in this captivating yet seemingly spontaneous design.”

A meticulous selection of 400 diamonds, spanning eight different formats, graces the case of the UR-100V Stardust. Every facet has been carefully placed, leaving only the edges untouched to enhance its tactile appeal. The result is a canvas of diamonds that’s not only visually stunning but also feels exquisitely smooth to the touch. Crafted from steel, a material tougher than gold, the creation of this setting demanded the highest level of artistry, reflecting URWERK’s dedication to excellence.

Beneath the crystal globe of the UR-100V Stardust, a minute scale embellished with 36 diamonds adorns the upper part of the railway-style track, while an additional 24 diamonds grace the watch crown. Even the steel pin buckle doesn’t escape this celestial touch, as two rows of 11 diamonds each elevate its elegance.

Beyond its captivating aesthetics and revolutionary wandering hour movement, the UR-100V Stardust is a cosmic wanderer. Echoing its 100 collection companions, the watch features two hollows on its satellite carrier. The first recess accommodates a kilometer counter, symbolizing the Earth’s rotation on its axis, encompassing 555 kilometers in 20 minutes. The second recess showcases another kilometer counter, illustrating the Earth’s journey around the Sun in the same span, covering an astonishing 35,740 kilometers. Thus, the UR-100V Stardust becomes a silent observer of Earth’s voyage through the cosmos, capturing the brilliance of myriad suns along the way.
